The Moka Express pot is made in Italy and its quality is enhanced by the patented safety valve which makes it easy to clean and its ergonomic handle. It is available in many sizes and is suitable for induction cooktops if used with its Bialetti adapter plate for induction (on sale separately).
- EASY PEASY USAGE FOR AN AUTHENTIC TASTE
the easiest way to prepare coffee:
Fill the boiler up to the safety valve, put the filter back in place and fill it up with ground coffee without pressing. Close the Moka pot firmly and place it on the stove at medium temperature. As soon as your Moka pot starts to gurgle, you should turn off the fire and wait for the coffee to be fully extracted.
- THE RIGHT NUMBER OF ESPRESSO CUPS!
Simple measure: normally 1 mug of coffee equals 6 Italian espresso cups!
The Moka is available in many sizes: 1 espresso cup equals 2oz of coffee; the available sizes are 1-cup equals 2oz espresso, 3-cup equals 6oz espresso, 6-cup equals 12oz espresso, 9-cup equals 18oz espresso and 12-cup equals 24oz espresso.
- FIRE IT UP!
The Moka Express pot is suitable for gas cooktops, electric stove top and propane camping stoves. If you have an induction cooktop at home, you will need to buy the Bialetti adaptor plate for induction (sold separately).
- SIMPLY WASH WITH WATER
Avoid the dishwasher!
Your Bialetti Moka Express is only cleansed by rinsing every component with simple water. Do not use any detergent nor put it in the dishwasher, as it damages the product and the taste of your coffee.

But who is the man with the moustache?
The man with the moustache is Renato Bialetti, the son of the inventor of the Moka, Alfonso. It was designed in 1953 by the Italian artist Paul Campani.
